Why Child Development is important?

Child development is a change that needs to be monitored regularly. Some factors like bullying and child abuse hinder the child development process. A child may seem growing up physically, but mentally they are stuck. This "stuck" builds up later in life and develop into depression, anxiety, and other traumatic experience. You decide, is it not important?
